Alright, So i'll go to load to another zone. Get to the town, right as the loading screen is fading BAM! Crash....Playing in an explorable area BAM! crash again. It's happened as many as 3 Times within 2 minutes.

Running Windows Vista Home Premium;
AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 4400+
3.00GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT

Also, a less annoying, but still annoying thing that happens: everytime I exit guild wars. Windows Media Center starts...?

Any solutions?

It could be your video card or RAM. You could have bad RAM. To test this, download and run this application: http://www.memtest86.com

I opened the link and the 2nd option down was free download O_o.

I've had a similar problem to yours, except, after many times of trying my GW just went corrupt and the archive folder could no longer be reached. I have yet to find a fix to this.

to get rid of the windows media center problem, right click on the GW shortcut and click properties. in the "target" area of the shortcut tab, you'll likely see something like "C:\program files\guild wars\gw.exe" -mce

delete the -mce part. that should fix it.

Not all the time, but several times, After crashing and I try to start it back up and it has to go through a 5 Minute "Repairing Archive"

Sounds like bad RAM or a bad hard drive, if your gw.dat (archive) keeps needing to be repaired. You're not overclocking anything are you?

Since I don't know what Overclocking is, i'm gonna give that one a no.

If it was bad RAM, wouldn't the computer crash while booting up?

not necessarily. if you have a bad ram chip somewhere, you won't experience a crash or blue screen until that particular bad sector gets used.

As Moriz says, not necessarily. The section of bad RAM may not be used until GW is running. Same thing with bad sectors on the hard drive - they may only be where GW is stored.
There are various free utilities to test your RAM. There are also various utilities to test your hard drive and you can get windows to "scan for and try to recover bad sectors" by right clicking on the drive, selecting Properties, then Tools, and the error checking option. That could take a long time, depending on the size of your hard drive.
